camping....
The next few photos were taken at Big Bend
National Park in Texas.
This is a view over
the South Rim
towards Mexico.
This is us camping at Hard Labor State Park in
Georgia.
This is some of that muddy water
they have in Georgia.
This was
taken in the
Rocky
Mountains.
Here we are
camping at Palo
Duro State Park
in Texas.
The next three were taken at Cave-In-Rock in southern Illinois. Its a state park and a
town.  We didn't camp there, we camped in a nearby town.
To cross the Ohio River there you have to drive your car onto a ferry.  The water looked
choppy that day but the ride was smooth.
Cave-In-Rock gets its name from a
cave in the rock along the river.  You
can see it here, its the small dark hole
in the middle.  The river is up in this
photo, but when its down you can
walk right into it. There is a hole at the
top, its pretty big but its covered with
mesh.  The cave is pretty big. If you
and 50 people went in,  there would be
plenty of room for everyone.  Maybe
the river will be down the next time I go
and I can get some interior shots.
Our camping buddy showed me this
link.  Its about a tugboat and a bridge
going head to head. Check it out.

My family and I like to go
camping.  We had a Trailmanor
and it was a good camper. Thats
an image of it to the left.

We finally found an older
Airstream. Link to its page
here.

The two photos below were taken at Lost Maples State Park in Texas.
There are some very good hiking trails there.
The first camping trip in the
Airstream was at Degray
Lake in Arkansas.
Its a nice state park, we've
stayed there before.
Swimming, fishing, a huge
golf course, and some of the
nicest sunsets I've seen.
